An album mockup for Korean alternative R&B solo artist, Dean. The main theme of this album primarily focuses on his EP release called ’Instagram’.
The visuals are meant to evoke a melancholy sentiment, hence the cool tones and monochromatic colors incorporated into the album art. In reference to the lyrics, I chose an image of the ocean as the background and wanted to incorporated the same ocean waves on Dean’s face, purposely keeping it hidden to symbolize how society only posts the best versions of themselves on social media. The vinyl reveals his real face, but I added a static effect to show how one’s social media posts can be a facade.
